Vibrant, Impactful wildflowers that return year on year, we think our perennial wildflower mix is unbeatable. Our Vibrant Impact Perennials blend contains 90% perennial and 10% annual seeds. This composition means that although the real visual spectacle begins the year after sowing, the annual varieties give generous colour within a few months. The collection of species has been carefully selected to give variation in colour throughout the season and adaptability to different growing conditions. Each pack covers 2 meters squared.
Growing Guide
Sow in Autumn or Spring.
Prepare soil by removing any weeds, rake to achieve a fine tilth. Vibrant Impact Perennials can adapt to fertile soils.
Vibrant Impact Perennials are a ready to sow mix - sprinkle straight from the pack.
Roll or stamp seeds to make contact with the soil.
Maintenance
Perennials give generous abundant blooms year after year and to help them reach maximum potential, there is some maintenance required.
Year One
- Keep an eye for weeds or competitive grasses and dig them out.
- For seeds sown in Autumn, cut growth to 5cm in March.
- For seeds sown in Spring, cut growth to 5cm in May.
- Remove trimmings.
Ongoing Maintenance
- Cut to 7.5cm in March / April and remove trimmings
- Cut to 7.5cm in August / October and remove trimmings
