Oxeye Daisy

Oxeye Daisy

Ox-eye Daisy is a hardy perennial with sparkling white flowers on long stems. Seeds establish on disturbed soil in Spring or Autumn in a myriad of soil conditions.

Ox-eye Daisy blooms early in the season and it is quite short-lived.  You can cut the flowers to encourage a second bloom. It returns year after year, growing up to around 1m in height after year two. It self seeds readily, and you can divide established clumps.

Pollinators love Ox-eye Daisy for its open flower heads, it is an especially valuable addition for moths whose larvae feed in the roots.
